Flat Panel Display inspection devices manufacturing require tight quality control.  Most components are outsourced and manufactured with the final assembly by the primary manufacturer in the home country.

AMREP ATC has set in customers meetings in which defective component quality originates at the remote source of manufacture.

Finding, solving and eliminating supplier component quality at the source is the business basis for AMREP Supplier Management Services existence.  Solving quality problems on FPD product is complicated and demanding on technical skills and specialized product knowledge.  FPD components range from sensitive optical cameras, lenses and air carriages with tight tolerances in a working system used by FPD makers to measure pixels deficiencies.  AMREP ATC has acquired skills from working with its first FPD customer, Photon Dynamics Inc, USA, years ago from quality audits, source inspection to problems resolution. Photon Dynamics has now been acquired by Orbotech.
